WORKSHOPS AND TASTERS
Mindfulness taster sessions for those who would like to find out more about mindfulness.
One of the most effective ways of learning about the potential benefits of mindfulness training is through one of our taster sessions. These are designed to let you try it for yourself and to ask questions.
During the taster session we look at what mindfulness is – discuss a few common misconceptions – and give you the opportunity to experience some of our meditation practices.
By the end of the hour you will have felt some of the benefits of mindfulness for yourself and will be able to make a truly informed choice about whether an 8 week course is right for you. There will be an opportunity to talk to the course leader at the end.
If you don’t think mindfulness is for you there is no obligation to sign up for a course but we always leave you with practical exercises that you can use in you daily life.
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing there is no need to bring anything, we provide everything that you will need.
